Abstract
In dealing with the topic of frequency spectrum management in South Africa the author has approached the topic from four points of view, namely: an indication of which bodies are currently responsible for frequency management at a national level; an indication of the current status of and recent developments within the frequency management environment, with a bias towards telecommunications; an indication of short term future expectations for frequency management; and a view of the future regulatory environment and management in a broader context within this framework
