Abstract :
In order to discuss the insect community structure and changing regularity in Taihu wetland near Suzhou, the community characteristics of insects in four typical habitats (the wetland park, desolated beaches, phragmites australis stand and artificial forest) were thoroughly investigated. The results showed that there were 156 species of insect belonging to 11 orders, 86 families and the species - abundance of insects in four typical habitats fitted a log-normal model. Species diversity index (H´), species richness (ln S) and probability of interspecific encounter (PIE) in the wetland park were the largest, in desolated beaches were the second, in phragmites australis stand were the third and in artificial forest were the least. But evenness(E) in phragmites australis stand was the largest, in desolated beaches was the second, in the wetland park was the third and in artificial forest was the least. Community similarity just showed that the artificial forest and phragmites australis stand were similar.
