  • Abstract
    In this paper, we proposed an automatic evaluation method for Chinese handwritten ability, research on information card design, algorithms of image processing and the index computation of automatic evaluation. Image processing includes distortions detecting, stretching detecting, image de-skewing and image enhancement, the index computation of automatic evaluation based on features of global character, distance distributions and grid blocks distributions. Results of this method applied show that the efficiency of evaluation is high, ensure the consistency of the large-scale test standard, score of evaluations show that the computation index accord with subjective feelings.
