  • Abstract
    A new side information (SI) generation scheme based on optical flow algorithm is proposed. The optical flow algorithm improves the SI quality by obtaining a higher accurate motion vector. Simulation results show that the SI accuracy, as well as the RD performance of DVC, has been improved significantly compared with SMV scheme in the case of low motion sequences.
