Abstract
Restoration and conservation interventions are progressively more and more dependent upon benefits of newly developed techniques. Works carried out within the scopes of several restoration projects had evaluated such techniques based on, for examples 3D laser scanning, multispectral imaging or pigments identification by LIFS of LIBS etc and reported in open literatures in recent time. In order to simplify the present work we propose an internet web-tool, a 3D digital model with imagistic information mapped on the surface. Two texturing algorithms are presented; a first algorithm is based on projection principles, and a second one, a parametric projection. The 3D available representations will be chosen by a dropdown menu, with the possibility of choice of one or even more models to be shown. This will allow a comparison between the complementary data obtained by specified techniques, and with advantages offered by the 3D visualization, including 3D controls.
