In order to protect patients and medical staffs, ensure the reconstructive image clarity and decrease the amount of the X-ray as less as possible, low-dose CT is in the ascendant. However, low-dose CT brings a serious problem, which is the incomplete projection data that arousing the reconstructive image low resolution. In this paper, we propose that the multiscale ART algorithm. The quad-tree of multiscale model is each coarse scale pixel corresponds to four pixels at the next finer scale, and inversion from coarse scale to finer scale. First, the image is reconstructed by coarse scale, to gain the image vectors. The image vectors then serve as initialization for the finer scale inversion, and reconstructed the imagery by this scale. The results show that multiscale ATR algorithm is very efficient and more robust with respect to local minima in the optimization.
