Abstract :
Parallel acquisition with matched-filters for frequency-hopping spread-spectrum communications is addressed. The mean acquisition time (MAT) is assessed by using upper and lower bounds on the probabilities of false alarm and detection. Numerical and simulation results are presented for the performance evaluation of the parallel acquisition scheme
