Abstract :
The aim of this study was to compare two approaches for analyzing cerebral blood and oxygen signal: the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), Wavelet Decomposition Power Spectral Analysis, which were obtained in order to know abundant frequency components. The comparison shows that WD method often had better results for the spectral resolution than the FFT. Several conclusions drawn in this paper may be of great value in the objectivity study of brain-condition and in the non-invasive diagnosis of NIS.
