Abstract :
The purpose of the eye´s optical system is to cast an image of the external world onto the photoreceptor layer of the retina. If the system was perfect, it would focus all rays of light from a distant point source into a single image point on the retina. In this case, the person will see the clear picture. But some diseases and disorders, while the light passes through the eye, it might be propagated. Therefore, the retinal image could be deteriorated. Optical aberrations are the source of this image quality degradation. In this paper, we present wavefront aberrations of the eye by Zernike polynomials series. The point spread function of an eye will be computed by Fourier transform. Finally, the simulations of the Coloured human vision, on the basis of aberrations effects will be done to reach the goal that “see what the patient sees”.
