Abstract :
In this paper, a Remote Radio Unit (RRU) selection scheme is proposed in coordinated multipoint transmission (CoMP) systems to improve the system throughput, especially for cell-edge performance. An assist graph is constructed according to the channel condition between the RRU and User equipment. Based on the assist graph, a heuristic algorithm is proposed to optimize the system performance with fairness constraints. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can improve the performance of system throughput.
