Abstract :
This paper presents the smooth first order sliding mode control(FOSMC) of control liquid level in coupled tank system. To validate the proposed control scheme, the coupled tank system and controller are simulated. The robustness of controller to system parameter variation and external disturbance is tested in simulation.
