Abstract :
A novel DC gain enhancement technique for cascoded structure amplifiers is proposed. It employs a positive feedback to increase the DC gain without affecting the bandwidth and power consumption of the amplifier. Compared to the conventional gain boosting technique, the presented approach achieves the same gain with much less power consumption. Circuit level simulation and analysis results are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed technique.
