Abstract :
Polyethersulphone (PES) is a polymeric material which is, electrically, radiation resistant, as a result of the aromatic structure linked by short aliphatic segments. This paper reports the effects of gamma radiation at absorbed dose levels up to 1 MGy as studied by examining changes in the low frequency dielectric spectra, thermally stimulated discharge current (TSDC) measurement and current-temperature characteristics
