Abstract
In this note, input conditions for a satisfactory convergence rate of a class of hybrid adaptive identification and control schemes are investigated. It turns out that for the class of hybrid adaptive schemes studies the input conditions are similar in form to those for the continuous time adaptive identification and control systems. The importance of such a result is to demonstrate that, for some hybrid adaptive control schemes, there are no hidden problems relating persistence of excitation and data sampling rate.
