  • Abstract
    The wavelet transform has been widely used in the analysis of power system as an effective method to analyze digital signals. In order to detect the harmonics more accurately, this paper applies the wavelet packet theory in harmonics detection, the method make full use of it´s advantage in deviding the frequency band more meticulous, it can get the harmonics´ waveforms more accurately. The paper discusses power harmonic detection method and the development of equipment that is based on DSP chip and LabVIEW, which is used to analyze and measure harmonic on real-time.
