Abstract :
A very general microscopic model for high field electrical transport in diverging fields is presented. It is shown that this model confirms the FLSC (field limiting space charge) model for the bulk of the space charge region and takes into account electrode effects which may be crucial for aging. It is clear that field-induced detrapping depends on trap distribution and trap occupancy and this in turn is subject to aging
