  • Abstract
The fundamental results of the instantaneous power theory have been applied to optimize the power factor in three-phase power systems with nonlinear loads. Compensation in both steady and transient states is considered. The models for PSPICE of an active power filter and a control circuit are presented. The results of a practical case, using these models, are also included
