Abstract :
In this paper, an active recognition photo system (ARPS) is presented. ARPS is one of applications designed for child care robots. ARPS automatically evaluates good photos of children with natural look, stores them and recognizes those photos for delivering them to each childpsilas parents. For the realization of ARPS, a photo evaluator evaluating qualities of photos and a face recognizer using image sequences are proposed. ARPS has been validated its performance by 2 months of field test carried out in a children nursery.
