Abstract :
Since this combination between microscopy and interferometry appears to be very promising and was physically of great interest, we decided to implement some theoretical models in order to understand the mechanisms presiding at resonance or, on the contrary, at anti-resonance. This was the object of a first paper by A. Castiaux in Phys. Review, 1996. In this one, we concentrate our attention on the tip-surface coupling. We look at different kinds of tips (uncoated or coated, large or sharp) and we study the perturbation introduced by such a tip being in a more or less close vicinity of the prism.
