Abstract
In this paper, a software architectural style is introduced into the design of a Web-based software system to support electronic commerce solutions for deregulated power markets. The designed heterogeneous software architectural style is flexible for various power market structures and extendible for the fast changing industry environment. Meanwhile, a wrapping technique is designed to integrate the legacy energy management system (EMS) into the power market supporting system
