Abstract :
The strategic importance of the ICT industry is widely acknowledged in developed as well as in developing and emerging countries. Many governments have recognized the key role of this exceptionally dynamic sector that enables income generation and employment promotion, has a substantial export potential and significantly contributes to improving productivity, efficiency and innovation in the public and private sectors. Innovation has a great role in developing countries. In recent years new approached was developed to maximize the benefits of Innovation. In this paper a literature review regarding the definitions, approaches and indicators to the subject, then the current situation in Sudan is presented to study the innovation role in developing ICT Industry in Sudan. Finally, a proposal for integrated framework has been presented.
