Abstract :
Cooperative communications develop rapidly to meet the requirements of the multimedia service. The paper investigates the outage probability for three kinds of protocols in multiple relay system. The expressions are derived for different protocols, including decode-and-forward, selection decode-and-forward and cooperative network coding. The outage probability is obtained from theoretical analysis and verified by the simulations, which show that the multiple relays can assist improving both throughput and diversity gain for cooperative network coding system.
