Abstract
The efficient use of available data is the greatest difficulty in the modelling of operation states of electrical power distribution systems. If the analysis of the operation state is performed on the basis of out-of-date or incorrect information, subsequent decisions may significantly differ from the optimum decisions. Theory enabling description of unreliable and inaccurate data, and the relationships between them, is fuzzy set theory. The paper presents the possibility of application of fuzzy regression analysis to the load estimation in power distribution systems. Theoretical analysis is illustrated by a numerical example
