Abstract :
A frequency random-accessible THz-wave parametric oscillator (TPO) with a ring-cavity configuration was developed. This report demonstrates a compact TPO using special mirrors that reflect the idler beam (λ>∼1.067 μm) and transmits the pump beam (1.064 μm). A widely tunable range from 1.1 to 2.6 THz was obtained.
