Abstract :
Nowadays, the vibration disturbance and noise caused by subway are increasingly intensified with the rapid urbanization and it brings serious environmental pollution to the neighboring. This paper focuses on subway induced vibration of a pair of tunnels near a subway station as well as a building nearby in Shanghai. The vibration was measured by field tests which lasted for approximately seventeen and half hours on the same day. Initial data was acquired and divided into eighteen equal parts chronologically. In each part, the maximum accelerations of three dimensions are obtained. Thus vibration propagation laws of the tunnel and the neighboring building, vibration energy distribution in the frequency band and energy decrement with increasing height or storey are summarized. Those results can provide reference to relevant research and engineering.
