Urban traffic planning based on idea of Da Yu Successful Harnessing the Floods — Taking development of private cars in urban for example

Currently the rapid development of cars in urban, especially private cars, exerted on the urban traffic further pressure. It was very important for urban transport planning to adapt and grasp this change. Based on the idea of Da Yu Successful Harnessing the Floods and combined with the current development trend of private cars in urban in china, the impact on urban transport was analyzed in this article. Some strategies and measures related development were proposed by urban transport planning. These might provide some worthy references for current and future design of major urban traffic planning.
