  • Abstract
Electrowetting is widely used in "lab on a chip" devices [1], adjustable lenses [2], display technology [3], mixers [4], fibre optics, and biotechnology-related microfluidic devices. It is its nodistinctive manipulating water droplet with the use of electric fields that electrowetting has huge potential in driving blood, substrate, and many kinds of expensive reagent. We will use this technology to manipulate microzyme cells in droplet formed from YPD substrate. Then we introduce the fabricating process with PDMS and Glass which are cheaper than materials of many other electrowetting devices. More important, these materials are bio-compatible, cheap, and controllable.
