Abstract
So far, there are many conclusions about the formation conditions of debris flows but most are qualitative analysis. On the basis of in-depth study of previous scientific research, this paper, combined with the actual situation of the debris flows in the Himalaya Region and selected quantitative classified indicators, using the canonical correlation analysis method based on fuzzy diagnosis, analyzes the disasters´ data, interprets the formation mechanism of debris flow in the Himalayan region from a quantitative view and determines the controlling factors of disasters, which can provide some references for determining the weights in disaster assessment.
