Abstract :
Compact, low-cost, terahertz systems may be based on frequency triplers manufactured using co-planar waveguide (CPW) and semiconductor components integrated on a GaAs substrate, excited by commercial Gunn diodes. Designs, simulations and measurements of the tripler components; CPW transmission lines and filters, with Schottky diode harmonic generators, are presented.
