Abstract
A new method for analyzing air flows is proposed. This method is based on tracer gas technique, video recording and digital image processing. By assuming that the tracer gas cloud simulates the air movement one can recover the three-dimensional profile and the velocity field of an air flow by analyzing a picture sequence of a tracer gas cloud. All required stages and algorithms of this analyzing process are presented, including some experimental results
