Abstract :
Recently, some devices controlled by only looking at the menus presented on a CRT display have been studied for the disabled. However, they have problem concerning their eye´s point of gaze detection method, such as burden for the user. In this paper, a new eye-gaze detection method overcoming the weaknesses of previous methods is proposed. This system, utilizing a video-based technique, does not need any sensors attached to the user´s face, and allows the user´s free head movement.
