Abstract
We experimentally analyze the SRS polarization-dependence of a commercial high-birefringence fiber, paying special attention to its spectral broadening. Exploiting this property, we build an adjustable spectral shape Raman continuum source in the 1.3 μm wavelength region with 240 nm bandwidth and good input-to-output conversion efficiency.
