Abstract :
The information society is coming with the rapid development of science and technology. As a result, the open complex giant system (OCGS) has become an active research field in the area of system engineering. We summarize OCGS features, and research OCGS problems by a new method-metasynthetic engineering (ME), and propose that the ME technique consists of four parts: information fusion technique (IFT), combining qualitative and quantitative methods (CQQM), experts in the loop (EL) and distributed network environment (DNE). Finally, we give an application example
