Abstract
Aiming at the features of environmental risk such as multi source, multi-channel and multi-sensitive target, a regional environmental risk assessment method based on matrix method was raised in this paper. This method converts risk effects from multi risk source into risk loss probability, and evaluates regional environmental risk according to the method of joint probability, and geographic information system (GIS) was applied to zoning on the basis of assessment results. Min hang District, Shanghai was selected as the analysis example, and maps of environmental risk zoning were made by the analysis results. It can be used by government for setting regional development plan, environmental risk preventive measures and emergency plan, supporting regional industrial layout optimizing and enhancing regional environmental risk management on the theoretical and scientific basis. It has certain theoretical and practical meanings.
