  • Abstract
The main purpose of this paper was to discuss the disadvantages of multi-campus university, and find the way to change it. There are 3 main disadvantages of the multi-campus universities, the less exchanges between teachers and students, the time wasted on the way for teachers, the additional traffic costs for the universities and the environmental pollution caused by these additional traffic among campuses. This paper analysed the existing problems and provide some feasible methods to change this situation, that is to build some good kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools and some hospitals in suburbs to improve the fairness of medical conditions and equality of educational resources between large cities and its outer suburbs. When the teachers´ children can receive good education and the teachers´ family can get some good medical care in the suburbs that new campus in, then the teachers may be willing to suburban living and the 3 disadvantages can be changed.
