Abstract
The problem of bearing/emitter location estimation for multiple wideband sources is addressed. The approach is to extend a recent algebraic method originally derived for multiple narrowband signals. The extended method makes use of the concept of the approximate dimension of a signal space as defined by Slepian. Some properties of the proposed algorithm are explored, and example computer simulations are presented.
