Abstract :
A series of making algorithm of rapid prototyping technology is designed for surface-molding used in forming microlens. The making algorithm are made up of the optimization design of microlens, making phase turned actual thickness, STL file outputted from CAD, loading and displaying STL file in VC, slicing algorithm based on the STL model and filling algorithm of the cross-section after slicing. Based on the making algorithm, the errors of the surface-curing molding method is analysed that was produced by using the digital micromirror device (DMD) as a dynamic mask and compared with the traditional point-curing molding method´s.The result shows that the surface-molding method can reduce errors and increase the speed of molding. It is a kind of effective rapid prototyping method.
