Abstract :
A microprocessor-based data acquisition and diagnosis system has been developed to measure respiratory flow and partial pressure of oxygen in respiratory air simultaneously. Additional maneuvers which enhance the monitoring capabilities of the instrument are included. The system attributes comprise portability, expandability, ease of use and low cost.
