Abstract :
The development of telecommunication has brought new tasks also in the area of power supply. Old equipment are being followed by new switchmode rectifiers and VRLA batteries. The importance of the AC UPSs increases. A new task is the feeding of the active element of the access networks. A new generation of the power equipment was developed for this purpose. A telecommunication company does not develop new equipment but its tasks are specifying the requirements, planning the systems checking, installing and operating the equipment and solving the appearing problems. The telecom company has to harmonise the powered and powering equipment parameters according to the all local demands
