Abstract :
In many applications it is desired to digitally filter more than one signal simultaneously. For video signal processing we provide a straight-forward technique for obtaining efficient VLSI implementations. By state scheduling we separate the arithmetic from the read or write operations on the states stored in the registers. The changes of the sampling rate have only an impact on the state scheduler, not the combinational logic.
