  • Abstract
    It deals with the factors of influence on shear strength of RC short corbels as well as the mode of failure. The analysis of design and comparison is carried through an example using Code for design of concrete structures (GB50010-2002), Building code requirements for structural concrete (ACI318-05) and simplified softened truss model. It aims to be the base of RC short corbels carrying capacity performance and design calculation.
