Abstract :
The authors conducted numerical modeling simulations of organic solar cells to optimize device performance based on such parameters as photoactive layer thickness and charge carrier mobilities. It is found that the device performance is strongly dependent upon device thickness as well as the electronic properties of the charge carriers.
