Abstract :
This paper proposes a converter for conversion between the MHEG-5 and HTML4.0 formats, based on a comparison of these formats. The DAVIC has adopted MHEG-5 as its multimedia presentation format, while HTML is the standard multimedia presentation format of the World Wide Web on the Internet. As the Internet and TV converge, MHEG-5 content created for broadcast services will be reused on the Internet, and HTML content created for Internet services will be reused in broadcasting. In order to reuse the content in this way, conversion between HTML and MHEG-5 will be essential.
