Abstract :
We propose a new fast motion estimation algorithm for motion compensated interframe interpolation. We can obtain easily backward motion vectors by using a dynamic search range scheme. Also, in order to obtain the motion vectors closer to the true object motion, we utilize the local characteristics of the vector field.
