Abstract :
In an ecosystem, coexistence of competing species is always transient due to unavoidable fluctuations of their population and interactions. In this letter, we use stochastic simulation method to investigate the variation of each species\´ population and the relation between the lifetime and its reaction rate of the specie. The simulation shows that the predator of the weakest specie always goes extinct firstly. Our finding provides a new evidence for the law of the "weakest" specy survival.
