Abstract
Relative motion carries valuable information for motion understanding and form perception. The authors present a scheme for detecting relative motion in image sequences of moving point patterns. The proposed scheme uses the complexity of image plane trajectories to determine the presence of relative motion. Experimental results for two moving point pattern sequences are presented to demonstrate the proposed approach
