Abstract :
Proposes a method for the recognition of planar shape under affine transform. A new set of invariants which are real numbers is presented. Compared with traditional methods the approach doesn´t consider the phase of the Fourier transform. The robustness of this set of invariants to noises is also demonstrated. Experimental results show that the method is feasible
