Southeast University is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in China. In this paper, we summarize the experience China gained in the field of higher education of engineering, make an assessment of the current situation and set objectives for the reform and development of higher education. One is China´s 211 project, another is the reform and construction of teaching and curriculum design
