Abstract :
To enhance the computer resource access of mobile nursing carts in the healthcare field, it is necessary to provide a continuous wireless mechanism. Because the web-based utilization might switch among diverse applications, a design for a one-to-many switching tunnel is necessary. This paper illustrates a revised version of our original one-to-one stream control transmission protocol tunnel (SCTP-Tunnel) software. This middleware is implemented by the ANSI C programming language on the Ubuntu operating system, and the related coding techniques are disclosed. A complete experimental measurement of this one-to-many SCTP-Tunnel for different data packets is also demonstrated. The turn-around times per data packet in the application layer for small (1 kB~1 MB) and large (5 MB~1 GB) numbers of data packets are approximate 29.005 ms and 6.424 ms, respectively. Such system software can be simply integrated with electronic healthcare services and ubiquitously utilized in the healthcare field.
