Abstract
The introduction of the phased array technology is the next step for the development of the new generation of ATC radar systems. In this paper will address the possibility to export the technology of the phased array radar for non cooperative surveillance in the air traffic control, tacking into account ATC specific requirements in terms of performance and cost which drive the choice of system architecture and related technologies.
